These colors scream "Summer's Final Bow" to me!  It was a BEAUTIFUL day - and what a great way to end the summer... in love!

Sunset Blvd...

I'm always thrilled when brides and grooms come to me seeking the

 "non-traditional" . . .

this color scheme was no exception!

This poor cake had some issues getting to the wedding!  The top (4th) layer ended up all over the drivers back window, and there were some melting/imploding issues . . . nothing a few fancy flowers can't fix!

  Another "flower bracelet" for the moms - it doesn't get as squished as the traditional pin-on corsages!  There's a lot of hugs that happen at weddings, and flowers don't like to be hugged!

The Gold Standard . . .

 


This wedding was done "sight unseen"!  The flowers were transported to Idaho . . . and all I'd seen was one of the flower girl dresses!  I had no idea what the cake looked like, or what anyone else would be wearing, but, the "gold standard" was applied!

The Bride wanted "just carnations, with small white flowers and LOTS of leaves... to look like someone swooped it out of the garden."
